Description
At Trans El Trafo, we meticulously design and manufacture every component of our transformers, with a primary focus on quality and durability throughout the entire production process. Two critical components are the transformer tank and cover, where ensuring quality is paramount.
The walls of the transformer tank are made from hot-rolled iron sheets designed to provide adequate cooling for the specific project criteria. These walls are typically 1.20 or 1.50 mm thick, ensuring optimal resistance and protection. The tank’s lower part includes swiveling wheel carriers and an oil drainage valve, which facilitates both transportation and maintenance processes. Each tank undergoes careful leakage tests to guarantee its quality and reliability when it reaches the hands of our users.
The transformer cover is mounted on the upper circumference of the tank using steel bolts, nuts, spring washers, and a cover gasket. For models ranging from 25kVA to 400kVA, standard equipment holes include A.G and Y.G bushing holes, oil expansion tank, alcohol-filled thermometer pocket, grounding bolt, oil level indicator hole, and oil filling cap. For models between 400-2500 kVA, Buchholz relay and contact-type thermometer holes are added. In our hermetic transformers, there are no expansion tank or Buchholz relay holes, but there is a hermetic protection relay.
At Trans El Trafo, we produce every component of our transformers to meet high-quality standards. The tank and cover components are a vital part of this quality commitment and play a significant role in the performance, durability, and reliability of our transformers.
